Omeruo Shines In Leganes Win; Chukwueze Subbed Off; Ajayi, Ogu Lose

Super Eagles’defender, Kenneth Omeruo helped Leganes end their five-game winless run in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday as they defeated Huesca 1-0 at home reports Completesports.com

Moroccan striker Youssef El-Nesyri finished off a pass from Jonathan Silva to hand Mauricio Pellegrino and his side all three points.

Omeruo did play the entire 90 minutes of the encounter in his 12th La Liga start.

William Keane scored the only goal as Ipswich Town. The game was Ajayi’s 27th of the season.

Ovie Ejaria made his debut for Reading who spanked Nottingham Forest 2-0. His compatriot, Sone Aluko was benched for the entire duration of the game.

Orji Okwonkwo was an unused substitute for Bologna who lost 2-0 at home to Juventus. Okonkwo has made eight appearance so far this season.

In Isreal, John Ogu played the entire duration as ten man Hapoel Beer Sheva FC lost 2-0 at home to Maccabi Haifa FC at the Tunner stadium. The 30 year old has made 14 league appearances and has scored once.
